True story, my parents physically disciplined me for years and I LOVE them for that, my dad throwing out my turbo grafix16 I never let go.
That means ur parents disciplined you right. The grafix16 was maybe a week moment out of anger. Not saying there isn't a time to do such things but the way you go about discipline is everything. I LOVE my parents for disciplining me. Yeah there were times they did it wrong and the came up to me some times days later some times years layers and apologized for disciplining me wrong
What happens after you take away the playstation, ipod, cell phone, and laptop and they still act up? I know plenty of kids who have been spoiled rotten, had it all taken away, and still don't care because stuff doesn't really have much meaning for them anyways.
Honestly... if your kid is still acting up I'm going to have to say it's probably because you provide/provided a ****ty environment for them... Kids aren't demons there kids... who reflect on you. If your taking away everything they have maybe they feel like you don't spend enough time with them and that's why they WANT you to get rid of their things so MAYBE you will spend more time with them... It's not the kids it's the parents.
