Spearfishing Anyone?

Very true...

Fried or grilled are probably my two favorite ways. Nice clean ocean fish...grilled with lime pepper and some fresh lime.

I know someone that was bitten by a barracuda, but it was their own fault. Were swimming at sunset wearing jewelry.
 
Using scuba and spear fishing is lame, its cheating. Its also illegal in some places. We used to illegally scuba and collect conchs off of the sea bed though so I cant really talk. We would take 50 at a time way over the legal daily limit. Very tasty though
 
Hey guys, I will be going out to cali in early to mid January...staying for a couple weeks. Hopefully I can hammer some fish, and have some more pictures up for you guys!

Hey guys, just recently got back from a couple trips - 4 weeks in Hawaii, including a couple dives on the Kona Coast...however the 6' polespear was not cutting it for the fish I wanted to target. Hawaii fish got smart it would appear.

Florida's Key Fish seem to be just as stupid as ever however...Really got into the hogfish on the last day with some buddies. Put them on ice - and got the best fish we are going to get back here in Wisconsin for a long time, especially seeing as how we wont be able to spear for awhile.

Weather was pretty crappy - other than a smaller 2' cuda that I shot, this is all the fish we got. Only got out for one morning, but it was pretty good...

This is the cuda I shot...he came in while I was throwing some chum around - and I popped him as he cruised underneath me and slowed down just enough to get a shot off. Put up a great fight, only got him with an 80cm RA - wasnt using floatline or float - and he almost jarred the gun from my hands on his first run. Luckily he came back at me and I was able to get my paws on him.
