Hey yall, I havent been on here in a while, and unfortunately I had an attack on my redtail catfish about 2 months ago. I got ich and it got totally out of control. The only fish that survived is my huge tiger oscar and hes looking rough.:thumbsdow I really miss having a catfish, and I reeeally want a new one. :thumbsup:

what I want is something vicious, nice looking, and pretty much straight up evil. I would LOVE one of those goonch catfish or something but I dont think I can get any from my LFS. I have considered TSNxRTC hybrids but I want to see what else there is. I'd like to go to the guy with a list of the scientific names of all these different catfish and just see which ones he can get for me. -> OH, and I need to know by tomorrow. <-

Do any of yall have any reccommendations for a new cool cat for my big tank? Thanks!

absolutely not, the OP needs to realize that an oscar in a 75 is pretty much full, and that the types of catfish he is dealing with are absolutely not suited for tanks of this size
i suggest sun catfish

youre right. maaaybe not something that gets that big. I still want a catfish though. how are mustache catfish?
 
sorry didnt see that he only had a 75 g tank. well as devder said your tank is pretty much full. why not think about a bigger tank first
 
Yep bigger tank first then you should have quite a selection to choose from then.

I really dont have room for a bigger tank, and I will be going off to college soon so I am definitely limited.
 
lol you have been watching too much " river monsters ". just got a baby rtc x tsn today he is so cool looking.
