Truthfully, nothing will be the same. However, there are things that will be great but just different. And, different is definitely something good. I'm gonna think about it. I have a couple ideas, but before I throw them out there, I want to do some research. No matter what you decide on, make sure your filtration is heavy duty. Some of what I may be recommending will be quite special order, but not necessarily insanely expensive. Do you have access to really special order or do I need to recommend stuff that is slightly more common? I would consider a TSN or RTCxTSN fairly common.

you can recommend anything. I will ask the petstore to order it and if they dont, I might consider online ordering. I really like the true TSN but theyre too big. :( I really appreciate your time and I look forward to hearing what youve found for me!

thanks!

Look into some of the Syno cats. Ime they are very active and quite a few species would be happy in a 75. And come in a variety of color patterns. If you like the TSN patterning a Decorus/hybrid may be one to look at. iir these max about the 12" range. It's been some years since I've had african lake cats. and given a hide spot from your Oscar should be able to hold it's own. Otherwise I'm sure WW will have some good options for you.

A 75 really isent a great tank for any or the monster cats most get to large but I think a gulper woudl go nicely in there. They max around a foot and can eat just about anything. The only problem is that's the only fish you can put in there. There a few other's but its more fun if you find them yourself :) finding the fish is half the fun.

Hey, what are the dimensions of your tank?

48"x18"x21" LxWxH. an oscar couldnt live with a gulper? are they active at all or do they just sit there? haha

My 1" rtcxtsn hit 5" in 2 months, I have no idea why is grew so fast.

mine got to about 6" in almost 3 months. it was ridiculous. but after that it started slowing down a bit. it only made it to about 8" before it got ich from feeder goldfish and then because I had all the feeders in the tank, it stressed them out and made the ich 10x more powerful and wiped out my RTC and my 17" pleco that I needed to get rid of.

Hey sorry I haven't had time to finish my research. I'm in the middle of moving, and moving 150+ fish ranging from 0.75 in to 30+in. along with the rest of a house is just :nilly:. My biggest concern is in finding a good catfish for you is how territorial oscars can be.

Jaguar cat. Just have plenty of hiding places and watch the O around him .

A Jaguar cat was way up on the list with me. I just have concerns with have an oscar with one of them. Not sure how that would go down.
