well the oscar is kinda grumpy, but I think his bark is bigger than his bite. haha, my pleco beat the crap out of him. before he died that is.

Thank you for the well wishes. (We've got two hired movers, rented a Penske truck with a lift gate, suckered in 7 friends, and have plenty of food and beer. Note, the condo is completely cleared out and 93% of the fish are moved. This is for the 600 gal, the R/O system, the big kitties, and the aproximately 700 lbs of wet sand that we will be transporting... ) LOL (nervous laughter)

Anyways, one thing you will probably have to invest in are several hiding spots for the cat to get away from the oscar. I'd talk to some oscar people about some of their experiences. All I ever hear about O's is how much their personality can vary.

yeah, I think the oscars can have a huge personality difference. ive got a 7" oscar in my 46 and he's a lot more vicious than most piranhas I have seen. he jumps all the way out of the tank to get food. hes got beautiful fins and colors though, unlike the big one in my 75. hes just ugly. hahaha

When I moved my tanks, I kept all the water so I could just throw all my fish back in their tanks after moving them. I moved probably 2,000 lbs of water with very little help. hahaha not to mention the stairs to get up to my place
