i think this pleco is one of the coolest i've seen and i can't wait till it gets huge. there carnivours huh? what about just putting the spectrum disc in there for them to eat is that enough?

I have one LDA 07 which also = L114, ard 4~5 inches. This baby fight with my L160 like nobody business .... Headache Have to spread them.

btw,I gently guide my big plecos into a square plastic water jug to remove them
they dont seem to mind at all

There is a lfs here in Cincinnati, OH that has two of them that are in the 10-12" range. Aquatics & Exotics is the name of the place and they are $199.00 each

a friend has 3 of them. Scarlet pleco are around Can$130 - $150 for a 6 inch one.
He told me they eat meat and grow fairly fast compare to the other pleco.

That is pretty expensive for a Scarlet at only 6". I see them regularly for US$200 at 12".
