spotted gar OR flordia gar???

I could only imagine a huge tank/pond with 100 Spotted Gars in it... Oh the money I would pay to swim amongst all those beautiful creatures with the hopes they would be snaping at me :grinno:

some pics will be posted in the not-so-distant future...they are part of a research project for my dissertation work. just over 60 of the fish are at the larval stage currently, and about 20 are wild fish being used as broodstock. others are captive specimens used for educational purposes. the photos on primitivefishes.com are of one of the research specimens currently kept. reGARdless, these are all locality-verified specimens, and definitely spotted gars (as opposed to FL gars). will try to get more pics up soon--
