sorry, I have never go to any karaoke bar around here, especially a Filipino bar! I live in the north of FW, maybe I will bump in to you some day! You don't need to be cool, I don't really care if some people are cool or not, that's just the outside, it's the inside that count!
 
wow, this thread got stupid pretty quickly (unfortunate given the interest in the species in the title). would have had at least some respect for the OP until his moronic (and likely racist) comments.

here we go, pull out the "racist" card and throw that around. and this thread didn't get stupid. Wiggles made a couple of things very clear to me in a very informative manner that I appreciated very much and reminded me of a couple of issues I had forgot about.

I doubt Hung Wang thought I was being racist any more than I felt a slight of his being from Texas. maybe you misinterpreted the Tom Jones reference. despite all evidence to the contrary, Tom Jones is not a racist and takes care of his Asian offspring very well. his cover of the Paul Anka classic is, as a matter of fact, my "tip of the hat", if you will, towards the great karaoke singers that come from all over Asia.

Just for the record, bobtan was the OP and hasn't posted in this thread since making the seventh post in this thread early yesterday morning.

I'm pretty surprised that this thread is still open; I guess the mods are asleep or busy elsewhere...

good call Ryan...the forums have been pretty annoying recently, so i contributed by slipping up on who the OP was...comments were meant toward Daggel, not bobtan. either way, 99% of the dialog is a disgrace to the fish in the subject line or the subject matter of the subforum. yeah, hopefully the mods close it before it gets any more idiotic.--

Is Daggel a previously banned member or something? Seems very aggressive in this forum as if he is against the regulars.
