Spraypainting tanks backgrounds Black...... Yes/No?

hmm, Looks nice, I don't like the milkiness, But that should settle in while.
 
you've inspired me. I think I might do this to my 20g considering I have nothing on the back right now. Any paint recommendations?

I too have been inspired to do this with one of my spare 10 gal tanks, Stocked with 4 clown loaches (will be moved when they grow bigger) and 10-15 cardinal tetras, maybe a pleco.
 
I just used some black spray paint i found in my garage, taped up the sides and top really good with news paper, and sprayed at a 2-3ft distance. Applied light coats, waited to dry, went again, and again, and again. Then looked for 'problem area's where a spot wasnt painted entirely, and presto.

Lol, That takes ages. How many coats would you recommend If i use some latex based paint?
 
why dont try matt black stickers ? its easy to stick and fast too
