Like I stated above, SRTs really start to bloom and red/orange deepens starting at 8".


My SRT at 5-6, UGLY color but with good body shape and fins:

8", starting to turn nice and bloom!:

at 10"!:

ALL fish not just FHs are all about personal preference. For me, since I know that SRTs bloom late, as long as color has potential and good pearl line marks/distributions(pearls on the head!), I worry about it less. What it's important to me is the body and fins!

Most new aquabid users aren't aware that most legit sellers take your realistic OBO on each fish All I am trying to do is let them know that the OBO deal DOES exist on aquabid world so you all save $$$!!!!!!!!!!!

For the aquabid oversea sellers, it's all about the $$ you spend on them, the more FHs you buy, the more they will like you(hence more discount as time goes) I, myself there was a time I had to mention a buddy of mine who is a FH guru hoping to get better dealsBuy a couple fish from one seller, then you automatically build up your relationship with them I personally like Pat and Wut(Rainny and Lakefish), they are AWESOME broker/sellers!

i like pat also and lakefish has some wicked fish allways and the pearls always bling thats how i know his blood line

well, i ended up getting bluestar's srt, couldn't say no to the price (lowered from the original asking price even)

but i still like the ones on aquabid, and if i feel like it and free up some space, i'll buy that one too
