CT, VT were "invented" by those who tried to sell 3-bar datnoid as D. pulcher. Let me ask you Jarrett, is the fish dvs selling a D. pulcher or not?Haha, there is a well know fish vender that's saying it's not a ST but a CT.
Ok nice dats but are they full 100% ST or hybrid? There is a reason they don't have same bars on both sides. Either birth defect which is rare in fish or hybrid

Thanks for the info I always over look the grade of gold but I'm a noobWhat's wrong with the price tag of this dat? It's not top ST $, unless somebody is ripping themselves off I suppose. The exact vendor u reference sells the exact type (CT) for the same price range. So, this vendor is overpricing his dats? Might want to check with the "dat forums" bout all this stuff...This dat has black n gold that does not go unstable..i assure you! If you had a trained eye of decades of experience like you claim you would see a certain grade of gold & know right away to write off a possible indo guess..but keep looking at just the tail stripes

No, I can't! DNA test? Did you perform DNA test on every fish you bought or did you use your judgement and knowledge? What's next? Go catch a fish at specific area for proper ID? Only those who have not owned or seen a fish in person would base his judgement on pics from Internet. You can call those dat controversial all day long, but at the end of the day, they are NOT D. microlepis, D. campbelli, D. polota, or D. undecimradiatus. Until there's another recognize species in the book, they're D. pulcherI couldn't tell you for 100%. The only way of knowing with all these what you call oddballs is with a DNA test. You guys are just using your best judgment on pics from internet. Even if you go off the ID sticky it says those dats are controversial. So without a DNA test it's whatever you want it to be I guess. For sure it's not ST like I have bee saying from day one. Can you agree with me on that?
