Stand risers and leveling (stock type stand)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Have you ever returned a tank due to warranty? I just got hosed by a dealer and will most likely not get any good result.

Marineland got me with a 300dd. You're probably right. Its an aqueon 210 from a local store

I don't buy Toyotas for the warranty. I buy them for the reputation.
They are what they are and everyone knows.
But IMO a warranty is a paper dream used for bait.
I buy everything based on reputation or my own judgement.

Anyhow, anybody can build a better stand than a Petco type, just by making a copy & eliminating the fiberboard.

BTW I do use it in my stands, but it is waterproofed completely with laminate and glue.

You're probably right as well. I just need to sack up and get the planet aquariums tank. The stupid crate fee adds $500 & I have to drive 2 hrs 1 way due to locals not ordering anything except aqueon/marineland

I love our yota but they're smoking meth with the prices these days.

I haven't been to SoCal for 25 years so no idea about prices.
I've owned Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Honda, and others too.
They were all impressive to drive. All had minor failings.

Subaru in the snow, hands down, and if it wouldn't go up in forward, it would in reverse.

I don't like snow . . .

SoCal??

I made a lot of $ drawing stuff that was built in Long Beach, UC area, Irvine, all over, but I hate going down there. The bad parts really suck.

Be very careful using 4x4s they have a better chance of being uneven and warped vs a 2x6or 2x8, mostly due to how they are stored.. a 2x anything is laid flat keeping the milled edge true even though the bigger side is bent or twisted a 4x4 will move unevenly effecting the whole board and could eventually crack your tank if used in the wrong way... a 2x anything will also have much more strength than a 4x4 just based spin the edge thickness.
