Just got these two little fellas... I think its going to take half the rugby team to get the round the back! Now one is a water storage tank and is pretty much ready to go, just add water...720 US gallons! :headbang2

The second is the same size, but is an old fuel storage tank, it would need a good clean out, welding the bulkheads closed, and cutting the top off. Then it'll be another 720 gallon pond. Not bad for 20 squid (40 dollars!)

Like some input though. What would you do with them? Leave 'em as ponds? Try and add a window? Anyone know how a glass window can be sealed onto galvanised steel? Would you keep them seperate or cut holes in the two and weld them together? What do you think lads and ladettes?

Wow, I would try to put a glass window in that monster or dig a giant hole and make it a pond!

LOL

I dont think even a Rugby team will be able to lift that, you will need a forklift of some sort!

I had to roll them from the road, that was as close to the house I could get them. The best bit is they're going over a 6ft wall... Our pack weights in at 1848lbs... we'll shift 'em

So... They were out of large ones huh? ;)

We're not going to be reading about you on the Iterpol( http://www.interpol.int/Public/Wanted/Default.asp )site are we?

Get a dozen (that's 12 here):ROFL:6" diameter fence posts and use them as rollers (just get a running start before you get to the wall).

Use one for a pond and the other for the filter (can you have negative numbers for nitrAtes??)
Congrats on a GREAT find :headbang2, looking forward to this MONSTER project.
