Started the Ray pond this week

How thick is the glass in the lights? The pressure of the water is going to be a lot at that depth.

Those lights are a great idea. Are you adding any other fish besides rays, it looks quite deep?

the pressure at the bottom of the pond will be 12 kpa. there is a peice of 3/4 inch glass going over each of the lights.

Very cool idea with the lights. I can't wait to see how they look when the pond is finished - it'll be an ideal way to highlight the rays on the bottom.

I got a chance to work on the pond for a few hours today.

I have the other two lights hooked up, and was able to run the two inch pipe through the wall. This week I will have to pick up the bulk heads that I ordered. I am pretty sure I will be able to start the tile work in two weeks and have water in the pond in three weeks. I only have 2 months until I start school again so I am pretty far behind schedual for finishing all the projects.

I have insulated most of the pond now and most of the little things are finished.
