  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow, sure looks good already.
Might want to consider a peaceful / confine place for the female to defend herself from the males.

any chance on some updated pictures of your set up?????

I phoned about the glass today, and talked to a different person. Appearently the stuff has not even been started yet and it has been 7 weeks. I should get upset, but that would get me no where. this guy sounds a little better.

He asked if I could give him a week to get it done. I guess I really have no choice. the window was replaced today, but they forgot to bring the cutters to put in the vent holes.

This is what Calgary is like these days. it is a very busy place, where people run around with out a clue.

Updates will be a week or so away. I am kinda at a stand still now. But I have decided on Black Marble on the outside and white marble on the inside.

I am also going to put stainless steel eyelets in the grout lines on the back walls so I can hang wood and plant baskets. This way I can have a clean and uncluttered bottom, but still have plenty of shelter for other fish.

Finally got the Glass. they did not do a very good job at it though, but I can make it work.

the glass in the small frame has a little tiny chip in it so I need to take it back.

The ramp in the picture may work or it may not. I jut want to still be able to hand feed my ray when this is all said and done. I put it in the temp pond because I figured it was the safest place in the house.

I still have not finished framing out the two walls with the glass windows yet. maybe I can do some more tonight.

The two holes for the heat exchanger are now cut and the house window is in place. now I just have to put the wall back together.

my wife started to knock out the little closet to the left of the pond. That is where we will put the filter system.

next weekend I should be starting the plumbing

I should have some new pics up soon.

Wow. I want to see this finished.

me too.... the ramp looks really steep but they should be able to swim up it with no problem.... hell them swim vertical so any angle is better
