nice work. one question though how would you change the light bulbs? when the water is filled.

they will have to be sealed on the inside so i assume there will be outside access

the 21 days is killing me. sadly I have been so busy at work that I have not put the last few peices of tile around the windows. I have been working out some of the filter issues. I was thinking of using a couple of ehiem pro 3's, but yesterday when I was at the pump shop I was talking to a gentleman and he has 3 industrial canisters in the back that he would like to recoup his costs on. they have been sitting on the shelf for a long time. I will posts some pics up tonight and will have the tile finished for the weekend.

:D

I finally got my ass in gear and started grouting. since I had to wait 3 weeks to add water I was not in too big of a hurry. I do want to get the plumbing started and I had to wait until the grout was finshed.

here are a bunch of pics. my wife picked up the grout for me while I was working. I don't think she could have picked a better color to hide my mistakes.

I was asked a short time ago about changing lightbulbs, so I took some pics of the lights. it shows how they come off from behind the wall.

I have 2 of the light covers siliconed in and one of them has been grouted.

I was thinking today of how much trouble I would get into if a theif broke into my house from the basement window above the pond. Usually theives are not too bright, so I could assume that the theif would not know how much getting stung by a mature stingray would hurt. so if he or she fell into my pond and got stung, I would probably get sued. ah well, it would be worth it....

I hope you are all satisfied with the pics
