he owns a store and breeds on the side. He also was a manager of a couple other fish stores before opening his. He could have brought these in from elsewhere though...

ask him where he gets his discus from, he had to start from some ones discus to be breeding and raising all the discus he has, also ask him if you can see the discus eat, if he declines walk away and find another breeder, also ask to see the breeding pair(s) and there babies if he doesn't let you do the same. walk away and find some one else. yes as previously stated simplydiscus.com has alot of good people on it, with lots of info and good vendors. al (brewmaster15) screens the vendors, and they got to have A+ on there report cards.
