That's what I find so amusing about liberals. They are fighting for the rights of people who have BROKEN THE LAW just walking INTO the country not to mention counting the crimes they commit while their here.

Look at what you just said and what you've implied by it.

1. Liberals are fighting for the rights of the immigrants, thus you acknowledge they don't have the same rights as us.

2. You say they're breaking the law JUST by walking into our country. By saying it that way, you yourself are trying to downplay the implications of their actions.

3. You say, 'not to mention counting the crimes they commit while their here'. Well, if you knew your facts you would know that American citizens break the law at a higher rate than illegal immigrants.

So because I sympathize with the honest hard working illegal immigrants who come up here from Mexico, many of whom I work with, I should be shipped to Mexico City in the heartland of gang wars and nearly the most corrupt government there is in the world? By taking that approach to that side of the argument, Republicans and conservatives are trying to imply those who are liberal towards immigration are supporters of gangs like MS-13 who come into America illegally and that's idiotic.

1) if there honest and hard working why don't they do the honest, hard act of applying for citizenship?

2) are you saying that keeping them here will get rid of the gang wars and violence? they think that they are safe here and when the people trying to get them come here, they bring the violence and gangs with them.

1) they should NOT have the same rights as citizens as they are immigrants (especially the illegal ones) and not protected by the constitution.

2) they come here illegally which constricts the laws on immigration which stops the one from trying to come here legally.

3) where did that statistic come from? is that the percent of citizens commiting crimes and the percent of illegals commiting crimes? not to mention i hardly think that they can include a person who trying to hide from deportation in a survey.

We are talking about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS here. I left "ILLEGAL" out unintentionally although I assumed that everyone participating in this post understood the topic.

Apparently, I have to continue to label them "ILLEGAL" for you to debate properly.

ILLEGAL immigrants have NO rights and SHOULD NOT be represented by anyone due to the fact that they are I-L-L-E-G-A-L. Noone should be taking a stand for them.

LEGAL immigrants who have gone through the proper channels to LEGALLY procure citizenship in the U.S. should have every right that native-born american citizens have. Is that clear enough?

You're second point makes absolutely no sense as you have taken my words out of context to suit your own argument. My point is that they have broken the law from the BEGINNING and continue to do so while staying in this country.

Your third point is absolutely correct as there are about 600,000 Illegal immigrants in this country compared to 294,000,000 CITIZENS of the U.S.

You may want to check the %'s of crimes of illegals to legal citizens TO SCALE the next time you attempt to make such a ridiculous comparison.

I'm sure almost 300,000,000 can commit more crimes than 600,000 can although that may change in another 6 months.

I would suggest that, instead of your recommendations to "choose my words properly" you should concentrate more on NOT throwing ridiculous, unfounded statistics at the subject hoping that noone will take the time to research it.

Otherwise, you may want to seek out another thread to participate in.

I've always found it humorous that The Beatles said things like that and it seemed like a funny idea to put in for why I edited the post. I'd say I'm sorry if it offended anyone but it doesn't look like I did. I've read a good deal of Marx and I still don't know if I could say that Lennon was outright for communism. The communism they tried to portray him as a supporter of was actually Stalinism which is basically the example of communism people are taught about here in America. Not surprising, same people who run the prison system run the school system. That and the whole idea that as Americans we should rather be dead than red
