Crikey!!! That so sad to hear. Everytime i watched his show i just wondered how much longer it would be before something killed him. Never thought it would be a ray, one of my favorite pets.

Thats so sad and hard to believe. They say he was the 2nd or 3rd death from a stingray EVER in Australia and the last one being in 1945!

Like I said in the lounge, a celeb death normally doesnt phase me too much, but with Steve it really is heart breaking....

man! i've got ten rays sitting in my pond......and i go down to do landscapin every week.....steve got stabbed in the heart apparently..........my condolences to his family......he will be greatly missed........sighs, no more funny tv shows...

I've seen your posts on *********** too. Kind of cold ripping on a dead man, don't you think? No matter what you think of him.....show a little respect for the fact that his and wife and children lost someone they loved. He may have done something stupid to get stung, and no one may be surprised that he was killed by an animal, but you don't have to be cruel about it.

he wasn't even messing with ray as from what news reports say he didn't even know it was there but was under the sand


it was caught on film so i am sure sooner or later it will make it to the net. sadly enough. the tape should be destroyed
