** I also did a brief search on this topic or anything similar and couldn't find one to ease my curiosity. I apologize if this has been asked recently. **

1. Weekly or Monthly Bill
$600 minimun up to $750
2. Type/Name of Stingray(s)
A wide variety of species but the biggest eater by far is the castexi
3. Size of Stingray(s)
From 3" pups and a near 30" castexi
4. Quantity of Stingray(s)
Could be up to 20 pups at a time and 21 subadults to adults
5. Type of food(s): i.e. shrimp, tilapia, worms, pellets, etc.
shrimp, then talapia, pellets, worms, sole, bloodworms and various other seafoods

Wow you sure got some hungry little monsters dude:WHOA:

I dont keep track of my food bill, got 3 retics and 2 motoro but they are in a tank with 8 flagtails, 26 pink tailed chalceus, 1 Lima cat, 1 TSNxRTC and a pair of Xingu I pikes, so I dont know how much the rays eat..

I go thru about 2.5 lbs a month of pellets $25.00
shrimp 1-2lbs $10, and smelt 10 lbs $20

$55 a month

1-18" motoro
1-11" motoro
1-13" hybrid
1-10" Leo
1-10" flower
3- hystrix 7-11"
1- Leo 7"

1 feeding a day most of the time.

I didn't get a chance to post mine, got busy.

Monthly Tab: $80 (+/-)

2 - 5"-6" Classic Leos
2 - 6"-7" BD/Leos
2 - 8" Flowers
3 - 5"-6" Hystrix
3 - 5"-6" Misc.

4-6 lbs. shrimp ($40-$50), 6 cartons nightcrawlers ($30)

1-2 feedings a day, 5-6 times a week

mine about 5 rays,
1 about 18 inch motoro?
1 about 12 inch hybrid
1 about 11 inch pearl?
2 about 10 inch pearl?

cost me about 10 kg each month. feed them about 3 times a day. shrimp about 45 usd 10 kg, if salt water fish about 15 usd 10 kg. Some times i mixed them, sometime only shrimp.

Bump for a great thread.
I am FAR off from being able to do a ray tank if I do pursue, but this is very important for me to see what else I would be getting into financially down the road with a ray project.

I am using springpad to collect notes, links, and pics for future aquarium projects and this will help alot!
Nick

PS - I am a little afraid now because everyone seems to have more than one. Are rays like tattoos and women? ;)
