Stingray help

Well Karl I'll tell u something the stingray I'm getting is the moroto stingray but u already know that. I've talked to the shopkeeper. He says that it's eating floating pellets. It's size is approximately 11 inches with its tail included. Now the only problem I have is that I don't want it to eat my other fish. The oscars won't get eaten inshallah. But I'm worried about the sun catfish which are as big as your index finger. And I have a green terror which also as big. Then I have two baby flowerHorns that pick on other fish most of the time. But the fish I'm most worried about is the Indian catfish. It picks on all the fish I have and has one hell of a personality. I hope the stingray doesn't kill it

I have a friend, who had Soribum Lima's with hes motoro rays (The rays where about 15 inches) anyways one of the motoro rays kept biting the heads of the soribums. (The soribums where 12 inches). I'm thinking its gonna kill your small fish.

Yeah I ll tell u my friend the thing is when u have a small aquarium. And the fish is grows to big you have to give it back. You don't want to make it's life miserable and sometimes you just get bored with the fish. In my case I'm just afraid that it might sting me. So I plan not to keep it for such a long time. The bigger it gets the bigger it's tail gets. And the moroto stingray at the petstore is about 11 inches with its tail included and it's eating floating pellets.

In that case, why do you even buy these fish? Is it a kind of a "lease" ? Why don´t you buy only the ones you have means /conditions to take care of and don´t frighten you ?
I really don´t understand this way of thinking. Oh well...

I see no problem, if rajata can find a good home for the ray when it outgrows. But be ready, its gonna most likely eat your small fish. Rataja, the fact that one of your oscars had hole in the head, is a sign of bad Water quality, your gonna have to keep the in good condition with rays, and they should be very messy so.. alot of waterchanges, and good filtration :D!

His tank is too small, he is scared of rays, he wants to keep flowerhorns with a ray, his oscars are diseased, and he knows nothing about rays.... defending him makes you about as bright as he is.

Karl sorry I showed my Oscar to the vet he says that it isn't a hole in the head. He says those are sensory pits so now I have nothing to worry about.and mr. Allgood I'm afraid of something that might kill me and mr smart ass my tank ain't small it's 8 foot for good sake and 3 foot wide. It'll be just fine to take of a ray for sometime. I advise u mind your own business. And I'm pretty much sure that u don't know anything about fish. Because since this thread started u only wrote ****. According to me u should quite the hobby. And another thing my fish aren't diseased, secondly go on YouTube you'll see rays with flowerhorns third I've read a lot about rays so now if u don't mind can u give some good advice instead of commenting your useless comments thank u. And u talk about Karl he's a very experienced person something u can never in your whole life

It can't kill you, hith is a disease but I see you had that looked at, if you did research on rays you wouldn't be asking many of these questions and anyone with flowerhorns with their rays is playing russian roulette. How bout a pic of your tank?

Karl lost me when he said rays don't have control of their tail. He may have read that somewhere but like the other ray keepers commenting, I can tell you my girl is deadly accurate with hers
