Plecos (not the standard ones)
Leopard Ctenopoma
Bichirs
Whiptail Cat

Whiptail cats get to almost 2 feet long
And a Senegal poly bichir is really the only bichir that would live in a 55

BrGK in groups of 5+ or proven mated pairs of singly(The best option =]]) And I think you should keep knight gobies...They may like for 1/2 a year longer or so in brackish but wow they are nice fishes but can be rathar agressive.Peacock gobies are awsome fish..I have a pair of them =]]

I'm thinlking archerfish. I just saw them for the first time today, and they should be able to get along in a 55
