I would not recommend housing HRPs with cories... Just my experience, but my HRP male systematically killed off 6 rabouti cories in a matter of 2 weeks. I believe it's because they both inhabit the bottom portion of the tank, so the HRPs can sometimes see them as intruding on their territory.
While HRPs are generally more mellow than cons, my 4.5" HRP male in my 75 is an absolute brute and bosses around my 9" oscar. Each fish has its own personality basically. Good luck!
Really? I had read so much about how they were fine with most all bottom dwellers including cories. Well I am going to order like 16 of the sterbai cories, but I can always rehome them to the other 55 and have them all in there (would be a giant Cory colony) or some can go to the 125. Thanks for the feedback. Will definitely have to keep an eye on that.
Reading about the HRP can be a bit confusing because there is the convict/HRP hybrid.
