Stocking ideas

I'd not planned going rock/wood hunting until tomorrow but I confess yet again he's right, without even looking I came across this. Now the question is which is easier: do I try and move it or just build a tank around it;)

That's a beautiful piece but it sure looks huge :) Anyway, the place seems very promising. I'm sure you should find nice rocks and wood there... ;)

May I suggest you gather as much as you can and then try to arrange them on the floor (like the guy did in that Catfish forum) so that you can choose the best pieces and bring them home?

It's eight foot in height FFS? That's a 45 degree off axis to the picture I posted in you thread :confused: Clay pits have no rocks;)

Last pic. The piece is free for the taking but you would need a truck and a whench. This piece normally sits under 4ft~5ft of water, I was standing on the canal floor during an drought last year. I normally fish this canal.

These are some superb pictures of big pieces :) I really like the last picture as it shows how a bank looks like... very inspiring for tank decor :)
