So I recently converted my tank from a frontosa setup to a SW. Its currently cycling with a clown and a few damsels. I would have left it fishless, but it was suggested by a lfs to add a couple fish so I figured what the hell. They all seem to be doing great going on week 2 here. Anyways after the tank cycles I would like to begin stocking the tank. I was hoping to go with the following, but am not set on any particular combination yet.
Imperator Angel fish, a blue tang, volitan lionfish, and perhaps keep the tomato clown. Now for info about the tank (220 gallons). I have 100lbs of live rock and plan to add a small bit more. I am running a fluvul fx5 and an ehiem 2262 and a 20 watt uv sterilizer (tank was not drilled). I will be adding a protein skimmer around the end of August. If this works out well, I will probably uprade to a bigger tank within a year or two that I can run a wet/dry and sump on. However in the meantime I'd like to get my feet wet with saltwater.
