If i find wolf fish or chaca chaca or dwarf snakefish I will take one of them. However, the chance of finding one of these is very small. But i am still thinking about the pacus . Are they growing fast or slow? When they reach a size too big for my aquarium i will find then another home or maybe i will get bigger tank. Maybe it will be catastrophic if i take them but if i don't find anything of the other species i will take them.

I was just looking through the forum and i saw this indo tiger. Is it suitable for my aquarium ? And is it a rare fish?

sorry its too big.

I've looked through the thread about the small monsters which is pinned and I found the fish that i think suits me best. I am talking about the Serrasalmus sanchezi. It is a good looking, devouring monster. And some of you guys said that the fish which i tak shouldn't be bigger that 1 foot. I checked and i saw taht the red belly pirahna have maximal size of 25 sm whick is smaller than one foot. Can't i keep one in my tank? The best is that the maximal size is not very big. What do you think about this idea?

Depends on the size when you get it, you would for sure need to upgrade to at least a 4 x12 tank when it gets larger. They need the swimming space

Ok, so i can take a single piranha and it is going to live in my aquarium without a problem if i take it young. Is it going to be aggressive to my pleco and can i keep with a senegal bichir?

Eh yeah it might nip those guys up. Pirahnas grow pretty quick so I would have an upgrade plan in the works already started before even getting one. A 12 inch fish in a tank that size is pushing it, I wouldn't keep anything in there that gets larger then 8-10 inches so it never has a problem turning around. Senegal's have a habit of jumping a lot if they think they're in danger so be careful of that if you do add a pirahna. And the Pleco may attack any slow moving fish to suck off its slime coat (like the Senegal) so make sure the pleco has plenty of food

The senegal is not so slow moving some of them are very active. I have had one but i didn't have a cover glass for my aquarium..... It was always swimming near the front glass waiting for food.

What kind of food would you give on these guys?I have tetra for herbivores and tetra for carnivores. Should i feed them only on raw meat and fish?
