Stupid Neighbors

Although I am going to get a dog( I am not sure what breed) I will give the traps a try. Trust do you disguise the traps? Or just bait them and put out?

A friend of mine uses them and he said racoons and possums usually get caught in them.

The only problem is she has so many cats. And she is not the only one. There is another crazy cat lady down the street. No to mention stray cats who wonder around everynight.

I am going to give animal control a call. Although I doubt they will do anything. She is not some senile old lady who they could take the cats from.

Animal control will tell u to rent a trap. I called them before. No help.

I just bait thr traps and leave it out that it. I ahve seen possums come up to it but not go in it. It's the cats that do :)

I think its better you find a good gator spot and whatever u trap just throw it to them to eat. LOL!

Alright when I get a dog. Say one of her cats wonders into my hard and is hurt/killed by my dog. Am I liable for the damages?

I dont see why you should. It's natural dogs go after cats and other small animals. Your dog was in your property and her can was trespassing and the dog was merely protecting your fish from the trespassers.

That's why it's handy to have a gator. Easilly dispose of the cats bodies :) Your dog and gator can work as a team. The KILLER and The CLEANER.

wait, you say most cats learn quick... doesn't this mean they just learn to avoid the traps?
Partly, but if you spray them with basalmic vinegar while you have them and them squirt a little around your property they should associate the smell with discomfort and stay away, no guarantees but it is legal, won't hurt them, and every cat i've sprated with the stuff hates it, they will spend hours cleaning it off. My cat gave me dirty looks for days but he stays off the computer now. Traps for cats don't need to be hidden, Trust is right about the$, most pounds/shelters charge "boarding fees". A big ATF in the pond would be fun. Hey, Bamapit, cats aren't the worst critter, crazy cat ladies are. Just a thought, most towns/counties have ordinances restricting the # of cats or dogs to around seven, might be worth checking because if she's in violation you can get the animal control people to thin the herd for you.

oh btw, if u get a gator, make sure you put some very brightly colored Comet goldfish in the pond with it. that will lure the cat to try to catch them fish. and forget the gator is there, then SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trust, you crack he up with your crazy suggestions. Hope the gator wont eat his dog and fish when it runs out of cats to eat.
