The police suspected it was done because of the drug "ice". I only know the small amount I read in the paper so don't have all the facts.

The girls parents were known for selling the drug, so my personal take is that someone couldn't get their fix and decided to take it out on their dealers daughter. I don't know for sure if that's what actually happened, but that's the only thing I could think of that would drive someone to do something like that - drugs like that drive people do some absolutely idiotic things.

And as for Disney movies being sad and depressing, have you watched the First Pokemon Movie? I've seen it more times than I'd like to admit and the damn thing still makes me cry lol just one scene towards the end.
Actually, a couple if the pokemon movies make me cry if I'm being honest... Gosh I'm a sook! :grinyes::grinno::grinyes:
No i havent seen it. Moana was bad...my god i wanted to slit my wrists when the grandmother died. My son hates Disney movies for this reason. My daughter is morbid

So i took the tablets and stuck them in a cabinet.... they didnt even notice.

Oh, well then let me educate you lol

The main character "Ash" (a 10yr old boy) gets turned to stone/dies and everyone that was fighting before hand stops fighting and starts crying, the kids best friend (a pokemon) tries electrocuting the kid to bring him back to life (fails) and yeah, its all sorts of messed up. I start to cry when I see Charizard crying. Seeing that big brute cry over Ash gets me every time because I'm a major sook haha

Ugh and i bet theres all sosrts of dramatic sad music playing the whole time.

In moana the girl is super close with her grandmother. Im thinking this is great my kids worship my wifes mom. Welp the grandma dies. Becomes a ghost manta ray or somethig.... i could have counted down from 3....both kids hysterical... lmaoo my daughter is saying i dont want nanny to die and become a fish.

Why would something like that be in a kid movie ?!!

I remember as a kid i refused to watch bambi oh hell no.

Oh yeah, this plays while its all going down, because of course it does

I've seen moana, I thought it was kind of cool how her grandma's death didn't necessarily mean her "end" and that she lived on in spirit. Kind of reminds me of the end of the lion king where they use the wind to represent Mufasa's spirit. Kind of like teaching kids that death isn't the end and our loved ones spirits will always live on in some way or another.
But I agree, Disney movies can be tear jerkers and can definitely make you question "why is that in a kids movie?!" but the pokemon movies are no better..

Bambi aye? That one never made me cry but I do remember asking my mum not to listen to Dolly Parton's Letter to Heaven when I was really young because it made me cry... Apparently a lot of things make me cry... Wow, I'm more of a sook than I thought haha

That's adorably sweet. At least you know your kids still have some degree of innocence if they get emotional over Disney movies. :D

Wait until MFK studios releases its first sad movie...Feeder fish tales!

The poor little feeder fish gets separated from all his rosy red friends to be fed to a poly! Oh noes! Then he escapes, somehow finds his way back to the pet store (facing many perils all the way), and gets told by a tiger barb he was about to get eaten (kids are getting bored, let's put in a poop joke here). Then he frees his minnow friends and they live happily ever after in a pond until they get eaten by an RTC (by the way, the pond is by the lfs so of course there's an RTC in it).

I love that ending.
