sump/overflow question

here is a picture of mine,just the sump is diy i already had a spare over flow but the sump is a rubbermaid bin and a sterilite three drawer storage container,hope the photo helps any questions you can pm me

Thats kind of what I had in mind, but I don't think I can fit a 3 drawer in the stand. Would a 2 stand be enough?

they have two drawer ones that are short and wide,mine is not under the tank it is behind it, the rubbermaid bin is 60 gallons and it filters a 265 gallon so i needed to go large

I bought a 35 gallon bin, I have the overflow setup. I'll go back to the store and pick up a 2 drawer. As far s what I should put in the top and second drawer?

filter pads in the top drawer,and bio media in the bottm drawer(bio-balls,plastic pot scrubbies,ceramic rings which ever works for you)and by the way i only drilled hole in the top drawer, i cut the middle out of the other drawers and cut eggcrate to fit in them,like a regular sump

you can just drill holes in each level. your pump will determine how many holes/how big you will have to drill

Thanks guys, I'm going to head out now and get a pump 2 drawers and all the goodies for the drawers. I should be set then as far as filtration goes. I'll post again once I get back.
