Hello I have to small sunfish 1-2 inches, and wheng they grow plan to get a 55 gallon tank, will that be big enough? or should i go 75, I also am planing on getting 1-2 more fish which tank do you recommend? My second question regards to feeding, will these sunfish eventually eat guppie feeders or any type of minnow? or will they just stay with worms and fish food. dunno a whole lot about when they get bigger so any info would be great..

i have 2 blue gills that are 5 inches and really they only need a 40 gallon. i feed them 2 worms in the morning and 2 worms at night. but make sure that if they dont eat them that you take them out. also the worms need to be alive and moving. And yes you can feed them guppies mine ate 10 in one day. you buy like 5 and just put them in and that should feed them for about a day. Also add me and keep me updated with pictures and stuff.

Do you know what type of sunnies they are because that would help out alot of us and the fact that there is alot of sunnie types from 1.5" to a 1' long, if you don't know and can't send pics go with the biggest tank you can get and most sunnies love live food and you can always get a small catfish for the bottom.

Here is a image of the sunnies, http://img704.imageshack.us/i/07202010003.jpg/ it is from a cell phone if it is not clear enough for you to see them I can take a digital pic from a camera if needed, they do not have any distinct spots or anything typical sunfish from around here. now that i look closer 1 does have small black faded lines going down it, about it

Assuming they are Blues they will get from 6" to 10" and will eat insects, crustaceans and small fish and can eat flake to.
