i just got a baby silver aro,for 10 bucks! whats sucks is it has egg sack still, and fins aint moving to much.Any advice?

The arow baby is getting food and nutrition from the egg sack..so do not worry about feeding.. just hope that it is not too stressed and fragile .. have good water pararimeters and nice quiet tank and hope for the best..many babies with egg sack make it and many don't.. you could add a few guppies for stimulation for the arow.. but buying them from feed store would be risky because often they carry diseases.. you can buy them and quarenteen them for a couple of weeks for the arow baby when egg sack is used up..also have on hand frozen blood worms .. and squirt with eye dropper in front of his face to feed..best of luck to you and little guy..Tape up every hole or open crevice on the tank..even tiny arows will jump and they find the smallest spaces..

how long will he last in a 29 gallon? till 4 in maybe? how long in a 55?

Good luck with the little guy and post pics. I am so wanting to get one.

i just hope you have plans to upgrade/trade in that arowana lets say like 250G tank...

Sorry for the dirty tank (the brown stuff is algae) hes in my established 55 for now, until i get the 29 started. He is all by himself atm.(the yolk sack is really small,i think it should be gone by next sunday?i dont know)

i have an indoor pond, lets say, 5 times bigger than what you said=) but its not set up yet.

he is incredibly adorable and i think he will be looking to eat really soon so have those frozen blood worms close by .. best of luck ..keep us updated..if you possibly could i would just leave him alone in the 55gal and let him thrive.. moving little guys around is so stressful to them..
