i have seen them at pet city and they look like escos , they have bigger brigther spots

yeah they are like 10-12 cm each

They're stunning fish but the price tag is a tad excessive, if they were more reasonably priced I would have picked one up.

looks escondido to me mine looked very similar at that size

i took one that was 5 it was the biggest
not many left but
they also have jag juvies atm

It is a carpintis escondido, the store is right insofar as it is the same species as regular green texas (carpintis) but just from a different location (escondido) and they have much more vibrant color and bigger spots than regular carpintis. Many members on here own them -- awesome fish, price is a little high though.
