Super NON-Agressive Pond Fish?

They're rare? I have seen them on multiple occasions at my lfs at about 1-1.5", and the rarest fish I know of that they have ever had was an ARTC that they had a couple weeks ago.

They are a endangered species(they aren't hard to get tho). I never see them around me unless they are special order. And I assume not many grow them out to adults, maybe pond keepers.

btw you can go the middle route and get a lungfish.

Does anyone know if the high fin would be able to survive in new york? I have a heater over my pond that is basically only good enough to keep the pond from freezing completely over in the winter. (I have an albino channel cat and it has done really well over the last few years, idk if that will help you in knowing if the high fin will survive, idk the temp. that it normally lives in)
