Super Red Asian Arowana | I just bought a SR any Advices???

Hey guuys!!
So, I just bought a Super Red Asian Arowana. Just wondering if anyone has one or knowledge on keeping it alive in the long run? It's harvest date was on January so its still pretty young. About 4-5 months right now? I have it in about 100 gallons tank right now. Will 100% move into bigger tank once it grows 10-11" big. Any advices is great!! Thanks!!

Heavy tanning around 8 hrs+ on the side of the tank you can wait a year but a few hours a day now is ok. If you have a regular led on top of the the tank you can use the tannnig led instead. Super red aro is more expensive so less stress for juveniles is always recommended but a lot of people i've seen start tanning the top part of RTG's anytime. I'd go for some vitamin color enhancer too like white crane brand on ebay there's different enhancers for red aro, yellow, and so on. Good luck keep the pics coming!

I would start tanning at around 8-12” cuz I don’t think tanning when young will do anything

I would start tanning AFTER 4 years when it is matured. Tanning is only temporary and the colour build up will fade if tanning is stopped + you risk drop eye, appetite drop and other stuff, so think twice if you really want to start tanning.

My red is now 2 years old and has never been tanned - IMIGHT think about tanning after 3-4 years - but of course thats only my opinion.
