Superworms

My leichardti eats veggies as well....because he also eats super worms.

T1 what types of food do you think your aro perfers? veggies or fruits. I mainly feed my sw's carrots and oatmeal. Is there a specific mix you think you aro likes your sw's eatn the most?

the worms last longer is you keep them in a tray in a thin layer if the worms are to deep they over heat from rubbing

i buy the worms in 1/2kg 1.1lb every months with no bran or dust ask when buying for no bran if you have the bran and feed fruit or veg it gets wet and smells

i eat a apple then throw the core in they seam to last much longer when feed apple not to much prob 4 cores per month or 1 per week then they dont die or smell

I never have a problem w/ worms dying....or stinking. I just wanted to switch up the sw diet...thus giving my aro a diff flavoured worm.

I order my worms by the 1000ct or 500ct generally. They last a 2-3 months usually. And i have not had an issue keeping them alive. IMO they are the easiest feeders to keep.

they only die if they get to hot or to cold

feed the worms the spiralina flake food for fish its mean to help with shine or red intencaty

the worms turn black then turn into beetles after a time

if you feed the worms apple and the flake you see them getting bigger and stronger

i have been told the normal meal worms are full of fat and the super mario worms are full of protein they are a different worm if you look close the marios are 2 colours and the smaller ones which are called meal worms are one colour

the small meal worms will never turn into marios

I actually read somewhere that u posted this and was actually hoping ud lost in my thread. Cuz that's what I want to hear. I had a feeling SW are good for them because of what I'm feeding the SW.

BUT, my aro is back on sticks. So what imma do is ill make sure he's completely content with carnisticks for a few weeks, then give him SW as a treat.

and they say to keep the sw in warm temps...and the smaller meal worms in cool temps.

Im gonna go grab some flake food while im out. And we need more apples anyway

I get my Superworms for 25.00 @ my door for 500.00pcs.
Best deal Ive run across. I keep them in a plastic shoe box shape container w/holes on top. I place them over my tank for easy access
I put a 1" layer of Regular Dry Oatmeal and feed mini carrots, sliced potatoes, cichlid gold for the traditional meals. Here abd there I add apple squares, broccolli, alge waffers and zuchinni. The Superworms eat it all!

Aros get fed SW every other day and love it

u can have your main diet as pellet and SW as treats
