Suppliers selling LIES

My response to that would be - who cares what Walmart sells? As Stanzz said, best to simply avoid vendors such as Walmart that sell "live" anything.

I know but it would be rather interesting to see what different walmarts around the world carry since they get them from different suppliers. I suppose I’m more interested in what fish are commonly available in different parts of the world.

The main problem with Walmart fish, is that the people taking care of the fish usually have no idea what they are doing themselves. I am part-timing at Petco at the moment, and nobody there knows much either. They all defer to me, and I get lots of people coming in talking about the awful advice they were given by another employee. It really is unfortunate.

And even then many of the purchasers don't care and say it doesn't matter.

I bought live clams from Walmart once because at the time we had some puffer fish in the store that needed feeding, that's about it though
