supporting a 500 gallon acrylic tank

Just curious I was thinking about building my own tank and it looks like if I read it correctly you built your's were and how much was the acrylic for the tank that you built. Beautiful tank

Actually I didn't build the tank, just everything else. I'm sure you could build a acrylic tank this big but it wouldn't be cheap. And if you screw up when you're bonding the pieces together you just made yourself a big paper weight.

I actually have an extra piece of foam, I just might cut it down and put it in the window.

great craftmanship, check out the thred in the "general aquarium" forum titled "the most beautiful tank".

I checked that out, and yeah the plumbing looks pretty but who cares!!! Honestly there are much better looking tanks posted in that thread then the one you posted. But hey everyone has their own opinion. And please don't turn my thread into a mess like yours.
