No kidding ,do you know what an addict cares about, only one thing.....
They will kill and eat babies,commit the majority of violent crimes,steal,lie,etc and people still say they r victims.

Not too long ago a guy was busted for pimping his daughter on Craigslist.I doubt that the proceeds was going to go towards the grocery bill.

Hello; I guess we all have heard how addiction is now called a "disease" by many talking heads on the media. I get that some get hooked after bad war wounds or bad accidents, but I also know of some who just like to get high. I get that both groups are addicts in the end and it is not supposed to make any difference. It does to me.

Had a neighbor up a ways on US hwy 119 in Harlan county KY who had their house broken into and robbed. Turned out to be the daughter and her boyfriend. They needed money for drugs. No doubt each of us can tell a tale or know of some such thing.

If this discussion is only about the use of narcan then it boils down to who pays for me. I have no problem with some individuals or groups wasting their own money to revive addicts. I do have a problem with somehow the tax dollars of all in my area being used in what is pretty much a waste. The neighbors I mentioned before never quit on their daughter. Cussed her a lot. However I never lifted a hand to "enable" her as I knew better. My choice. Their choice.

I will go much further for wounded war vets, but even that has to have some limit. I knew a few viet-nam vets who medicated on booze and/or drugs. After a while you have to let them go down their chosen path. Nobody quits smoking, drinking or drugs for someone else, They can only do it for them selves and when they make the choice. No point in my becoming an enabler in a lost cause.

sorry I just do not have enough room on my belt for a multi tool, extra clip, box cutter (and I use it allot for cutting stuff up during the week end and the week,) and my Glock to pack a narcan kit,sorry belts full have a great day! :)
