SW newbie questions

do crabs and snails need special lighting, im want to add some to my fowlr but it only has home depot lights and light fixtures (4 x 32watt 4' daylight bulbs) on a 150g?

no they dont
but you'd only need powerful enough lighting to grow algea and stuff for them to feed on, which isn't hard

ah ty, cant find anything on google about it, rofl, too much stuff on google these days, so would my lighting be good enough to grow some nice algae, it seems pretty bright? my light bulbs are philips daylight deluxe (light output: 2800lumens, color rendering: 85, color temp: 6500K)

I don't get it--folks are always trying to get rid of algae, not grow it! Those creatures are in your tank to clean up excess food, you don't need algae to feed them. That's why they're called a "cleaner crew".
