I agree with Duanes on the cats, you could try a hoplo but it will quite possibly eat the eggs or spawn, or it could get itself killed by the parents for trying to.
Bichir I have found to be good tankmate for cichlids, though I haven't kept one in a tank with a breeding pair. Not sure how that would work out; might be fine or the sajica might attack it. I would say it's reasonable to give it a shot and see if it's a problem.

Ok, i think ill leave ok the hoplo and just get the bicher. If it turns out ot be a problem ill just put him in my 75.
