I didnt even think of the auto changer. It probably wouldnt have time to tan the water properly unless you had a ridiculous amount of peat or leaves. I feel you on the skull and shell lol. I had a tank that the gf was dead set on having the spongebob decorations in. Looked silly but made her happy for a while.

Yes theoretically you can, but Indian almond leaves have always been traditionally used in aquariums, especially for betta. This particular leaf has many specific healing properties and advantages, and is actually a pretty rare tree and leafs are .25$, so if you ever find the tree stock up!

Op the Indian almond leaves will last a month or 2 and will continue to release tannins into the water column, so every 2 months just add more ! Easiest way is a fresh giant piece of dw!

Bubba's gunna go in the 125. Then im going high tech planted on the 90. I have the lights, pressurized co2 system, fertilizer package and the new stand built. I just need to sell the cariba and make my plant order and swap the substrate. /sigh

Well Mike, if you still have that shoal when my reds get that size, i will buy them from you and add them in :) If I had a tank to hold them in till then I would buy them now but I only have the one tank anymore :/ Sold my 180, 125's, 75's and 90.
