TANK BUSTED

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if you look at the picture you will see that where the glass broke out is where cracks in the glass meet. and those cracks start at the corner

I'm having a tough time with this.
How does a heater fail and cause this kind of damage ?

I'm going with Pyramid_Party on this.

Guys, enlarge the pic and look at the glass under the lower suction cup. If the heater exploided it couldve just caused a crack, with all the blowout damage caused by water pressure.

LOL at the pic, you can still see fish in the tank.

So........I'm not a lawyer but my wife is. Yeah I know, I get a lot of crap at work too. My wife actually owns the law firm. She says get 6 people this happened to and she will start a class action.

Shoot me a PM if you had this heater issue.

Seriously.

u guys can believe wat u guys wanna believe. for the ppl that think im lying. sure thanks. but im not. me and my brothers are not idiot and would not be floodin my own house. i dont kno how this happened all i heared was a boom. so if u guys think im lyin once agin thanks. and thanks for the other ppl who understand me.

For 1, there is no "explosion" when a a heater breaks. Its simply an over-heat which causes the inside glass of the heater to shatter. The point of impact is not where the heater was located. The impact is not going to send a shock-wave through the glass to the weakest park of the glass.

In my personal opinion I believe it was external forces that caused this tank to break. I mean, you can obviously see the point of impact and its not where the heater was located. Im not calling you a liar, Im just saying your analysis of the situation is wrong. But if you want to go ahead and blame marine-land with no proof then go ahead. Im sure your not the first con-artist they have seen. Believe me, They have excellent lawyers and money to back up any case.
P.O.I = point of impacts. And oval = heater. And with the way your hood is set up, the heater would'nt have been in that position.
