a) on a used 120g missed the small tear in the seal upon inspection. luckly it was only about 10-15% of the water the drained on to the floor.

Never had a tank leak but had a tubing come lose and leak about 50 gallons of water out before I notice the carpet was soaked. I've had
my sump level to high once when I shut the pumps off my sump overflowed. Once a co2 line to my reactor come off and slowly dripped about 10 gallons of water out of my 25g tank. But never had a tank crack or split.

Heater broke while on vacation. Lost 14 Synodontis multipunctatus. Still refer to it as "the Catastrophy"

Had a 10ft 300g that I was test filling with water that popped a straight across the middle crack in the bottom. It seems that I will never again have a tank over 100g that I do not put the styro under.

I had a 29g tank suddenly start leaking through the seams, it was about 10 years old, had to transfer all the fish...Hope to take it apart and reseal it someday.

I have however had a niece dump koolaide into my Barb Tank while I was not at home.

I had a nephew put a 9 inch gash into my pond liner by chucking pieces of slate into my pond.

I had a mother in law dust the top of my fish tank with Orange Clean and it dripped into my tank wiping out the entire tank.

And had a brother in law rip the door off one of my tank stands by not looking where he was going when walking through my living room when I was doing a water change...
