last month I had a 5'' crenicichla sp. xinguII (orange pike) jump tank from a quarantine tank (ich outbreak). It was still barely alive when I found it but I said f*** it and went ahead and flushed it. My silver aro jumped twice last week when doing a major cleanup and substrate change. No harm done. Hell Ive even had a discus jump tank at my ex-girlfriends. Also a few peacock eels.

My Oscar didn't just jump out of the tank, it attacked me over a bag of Bio-Gold!

LOL

i've never had a single fish jump out a tank. I guess i make them all escape proof with weights and no gaps (at least if there are, they are taped up). I hear plenty of rook knocking when the fish occasionally jump but none have lept out the tank, they can't. Fish are all jumpers, and are also precision jumpers through any gaps. Last thing i'd have is an open lid tank (also because of any humidity).

Scott's fairy wrasse jumped three times. The third time I did not see him jump behind the tank. Found him stiff as a board after a few days behind my tank.

our learuis jumped before we rescued it and it spent the night on a carpet with a cat that liked the taste of him it has taken ages for us to nurse him back he had no barbles no flesh on his right flank and no tail at all looked like a fillet from the market-but his well now and looks unmarked and even his tailis making a come back eats like a pig and looks to be harrassing the redtail for some loving lol-time to rehome him now we have got him well

I suppose i watched a little red claw crab climb out once. Watched him do it, put him back, taped up the hole.

I thought I was done with my jumping stories a couple of posts ago, but I just lost my 24-26" planiceps cat out of my tank. I never would havce guessed in a million years that he could have/would have jumped, but he did. Funny thing was that the lids were still in place with all of the stuff I have set on top of them.
