great tank!!! I was wondering if you have seen any change in the appearence of the motoros after changing from dark to light substrate?

Looks good man, sand, plants rays and discus. Sweet combo, you should get some more floating plants in there
Looks Great Mike! The sand Idea is ingenious, and Im sure those marbles will lighten up a little more. The Discus are coloring up nicely...where oh where did you get such nice specimens? lol. The only thing I think the tank is missing is a few pieces of driftwood to complete the look. Looks Great!
The marbles have lightened up a touch but they were not even in there for 24 hours at the time of the photo. I went with the light substrate because my brown rays (marbles, mantilla, and aparicio) were getting to dark in color. I thought about doing some large rocks stacked up but figured I will just keep it open to allow the rays more floor space.
