tank mates

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ok. but many people told me they are "perfect tankmates for RTCS"
And many people couldn’t tell the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground. That’s bad advice you were given on the red tail catfish.

I know you were probably serious, fishhead0103666@, but I bursted out laughing at that comment. xD

Anyhoo, as for the bichir, there are plenty of species that are monsters that would be appropriate for a pond (but not with an RTC). You could do Ornates or Congos. The Striped Raphael would be perfectly fine, I have a striped raph, which is a total tank. I would totally consider putting it with a bichir.

oh man. i wanted to grow out monsters for my pond. Any anything else that you would recommend me which i can grow and add to my pond?
Adonis plec, a number of other substantial catfish, giant gourami, although advising further fish my first question ought to be how big a pond, cos for a redtail and a pacu you need to be talking minimum 12x6 circa 1200-1500 gals.

Well...you could do Senegal bichirs, striped raphs, butterfly fish, and some tetras.
What sort of tetras. I don't like the microscopic ones like the neon tetra. Something that is more noticeable

I should probably start a new thread for the pond question
