I would just leave him in the 90g, some people may say you can skate by with a 55g but you really need a at least 14" wide tank which means 75g.

I will most likely leave him the 90 just thought he is such an amazing fish I wanted him to get more attention. He seems to get the most praise out of all of our fish, the most common question I get is "Is he a deformed goldfish" because of his hump

You will want at least 2 AC 500s, one is def not enough lol. If you got for the mag, i would also get the AC, without question.

I've had family members ask if my RD was a goldfish.
anyway, 75 should be fine for a solo male and Rapps always has a great selection of pure midas and RD of varying color morphs and sizes. I've been wanting to get one of the wild caught midas he's had the last month or so but I just don't have the money or tank space right now. they have awesome coloration though.
