I would just leave him in the 90g, some people may say you can skate by with a 55g but you really need a at least 14" wide tank which means 75g.

anyway, 75 should be fine for a solo male and Rapps always has a great selection of pure midas and RD of varying color morphs and sizes. I've been wanting to get one of the wild caught midas he's had the last month or so but I just don't have the money or tank space right now. they have awesome coloration though.
