What a great thread. I really enjoyed reading through this and the tank is looking AWESOME> With better light on that rock you made its already looking better.

I can't wait to see this thing fully stocked!!!
 
Currently its cost me around 1500-1600AU $ and will prolly end up being about 2000 once i've finished the canopy, get pumps and get a sparky to add in a new powerpoint.

I'm using maya to sketch up my designs, i'm an animation student, and its the program we use for animation stuff, I also use turbo and auto cad which are both pro design apps that my old man has.
 
so when is the next update?
 
Your doing an excellant job on your tank. I have really enjoyed reading this thread and the pictures showing the progress you have made. Your tank should provide years of enjoyment.
 
Thanks for the comments guys, Updates will be asap, just a little busy with uni assessments atm. I've almost finished the first section of the canopy, it just needs me to make the lids, put the skirting on at the bottom of it and a coat of stain stuff and it will be on.

The other section is the cabinets that will sit on top of section one and i havn't start that yet. Pics when i get a free chance
 
haven't updated in quite a while, still haven't finished my canopy (sorta tooka sharp turn to no work on it since i have my fish in the tank hehe)

but got up this morning and found my salvini have spawned :D so here are some pics
