Tank stocking large cichlids

The aggressive community tank. Let's just think about that for a second...
Your idea really isn't that bad though- with the exception of the Jag. Green Terrors grow extremely slow. You might want to get them first.

Try to get a female Jag. Usually much better for a community. My current female has been with at least 20 different species over the last 8 years in her community tank and honestly I would trust her with Angelfish.
 
One thing that to keep in mind when stocking cichlids is that fish have individual personalities and things can change over time. Two people could stock the exact same size tanks, with the same species, same number and sex fish, and have totally different results.
